| Hello and welcome to my site. Here you will find an array of different handmade products. Hence the name...hodgepodge. If you were to look up that in the dictionary, you would find that it means, "a jumble:mixture or several unrelated things." That is me...that is my work. My inspiration is always changing. I have used many mediums in the past, but my current passion has been sculpting with polymer clay. So that is the focus of this website...my sculptures and clay gifts. I mostly do life sized birds sculptures and fantasy sculptures such as fairies, gnomes and unicorns. However, if you would like to view some of my other works, go to the miscellaneous page and there you will find paintings, birdhouses, and baby items. So, take your time and look around...and make sure to visit often, as I will have updated photos of new work as it is finished. A personal note from Arlissa:
July 9, 2008
Good day to all!! Hope everyone is doing well. I am doing quite well. Getting busier. I am trying to catch up from my
orders because of my recent move here to South Carolina, while still taking new orders. I have been enjoying my
new studio and will post some pictures once I get a chance to finish decorating it! LOL! Well...I also have some
exciting news! I am going to be on a local show here in South Carolina called "Your Carolina with Jack and
Kimberly." One of the hosts, Jack Roper, was at my husband's store doing a remote broadcast for a food drive and
my husband mentioned me as also did his community affairs person, Ryan. (Thanks guys) And well, the rest is
history, so to speak. I will be taped on September 17th at 10 a.m. there at the studio showing some of my creations
and crafts and doing a brief demonstration. So I am really excited about this and the opportunities that is this going
to give me. I am so happy that I have had such a great support system from my family, friends, and other sculptors.
Each and everyone of you have helped me in some way...so I thank you so much!
I am going to be working on the website to finish up some loose ends up till the taping and I am going to add a links
page. If you would like to be featured on my links page, e-mail me and let me know and we will either put your
banner, make you one, or list on you on the page. I think this is not a great opportunity for myself but also my "clay
addict" friends. Let's show everyone what we can do! :-) So let me know if you would like to be interested.
